ICTA 2022 "Qinling" Award

IEEE ICTA is an IEEE flagship conference in the field of integrated circuits initiated by Chinese scholars. In order to encourage scholars to submit papers and register for the conference, the steering committee of the conference discussed and established the "Qinling" award of Top 10 ICTA Paper Contributors. As the Award Committee, we follow the selection rules according Conference Bylaw.

Selection Rules for "Qinling" Award of Top 10 ICTA Paper Contributors

§ The Top 10 ICTA Paper Contributors are selected every five years.

§ The Top 10 ICTA Paper Contributors are selected by top 10 ICTA paper contributor selection committee. The committee is composed by Steering Committee Members and TPC Chairs.

§ Authors listed in the paper will all be counted. Co-authored papers will be counted only to the author with the largest number of papers. Each paper will only be counted once.

In October 2022, it is awarded for the first time in Xi'an Conference. Since the establishment of the conference, top 10 authors have been issued certificates and prizes for their contributions in ICTA in the first five years.

In the first "Qinling" award selection, Professor Wang Zhihua, Professor Lin Fujiang and Researcher Wu Nanjian contributed 19, 19 and 18 articles respectively. Professor Wang Zhihua, Professor Lin Fujiang and Researcher Wu Nanjian took the initiative to propose that, as the founders of ICTA, they would not participate in the award selection. They hope to encourage more young researchers to participate in the conference. We would like to thank Professor Wang Zhihua, Professor Lin Fujiang and Researcher Wu Nanjian for their greatest achievements and contributions in organizing the international academic conference for young researchers at the initial stage of the establishment and development of ICTA.

This year (the first time), the first winner is Professor Geng Li of Xi'an Jiaotong University, with 25 contributions.

The second winner is Researcher Liu Liyuan of Institute of Semiconductor, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with 19 contributions.

The third winner is Professor Zhao Dixian of Southeast University, with 14 contributions;

The fourth winner is Professor Zhan Chenchang of Southern University of Science and Technology, with 11 contributions;

The fifth winner is Professor Yu Zhiyi of Sun Yat sen University, with 10 contributions;

The sixth winner is Professor Wang Chao of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, with 9 contributions;

The seventh winner is Professor Miao Xiangshui of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, with 8 contributions;

The eighth winner is Professor Tan Min of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, with 8 contributions;

The ninth winner is Professor Xu Yuehang of  University of Electronic Science and Technology of China,with 8 contributions;

There are 4 winners in the tenth place, including Professor Liu Xu from Beijing University of Technology, Professor Wang Zheng from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Researcher Zhang Chun from Tsinghua University, and Researcher Cai Hao from Southeast University, with 7 contributions.

According to the frequency of authors, there are 29 authors with the number of contribution of more than 7 (inclusive). In the list, we can see that Liu Jian, Qi Nan, Gui Xiaoyan, Li Dan, Yu Guoyi, Guo Zhuoqi, Li Yi, Fan Shiquan, Xie Qian, Yu Shuangming, Xue Zhongming, Xiao Shanlin and Pan Quan all have contribution values greater than or equal to 7. After  the abridgement of the co-authored paper, their contribution values are less than 7 and thus not included in the list of winners. Let us also thank all the contributions they have made for the ICTA conference.
